A Douro Dash

Post by djewesbury »

I have just returned from a quick trip to Porto and the Douro. More details will follow. I regret to announce that I left a man in the field. He was last reported to have endured a tasting that began with Chip Dry White and ended with Scion.

We will post further news as we see fit.

Well and truly stuck in the field, as it turns out; a 6hr delay to my return flight which meant arrival after 2am with no trains available for onward travel for several hours. However, return travel aside it was a most excellent trip, with good food, company and some superb wines tasted.

Glad to see you home, soldier. Hope you're almost back to normal and can still taste Quevedo 40YO when you close your eyes and think about it.
