Port at airports
Re: Port at airports
Departed London Heathrow Terminal 2 (The Queen's Terminal) this evening. In stock were a Graham's(?) LBV, G10yo and G20yo, Kopke 10yo and GM2001 - the last probably being the most interesting at £25 per bottle.

In Dublin T1, a desultory range. Cockburn Special Reserve, Graham LBV and G10YO and 20YO (the latter at €50).
And this amusing display of clarets with a supposedly 'Irish' theme. I remember a conversation with Justin K about the inflated prices at Irish auctions for Lynch Bages, based on the supposed patriotism of drinking this overpriced house.

One of the Irish drinkers presented a lecture to the "Sette of Odd Volumes" in the thirties claiming that 'Haut Brion' was a corruption of 'Old Bryon' and was therefore essentially an Irish wine.
Edit; That should have read O'Bryan.
