I picked 63, because there seems to be a larger number of examples that are fully mature currently then from the other dates offered as choices.

It is nteresting how this question has been interpreted.

I went for 1966, being a "maturish" year that was my favourite year of the 4 listed. Others seem to have read "which is the most mature year of these 4?"

KillerB, can you please explain the intent of the question (other than just to attract posts to a new site :wink: )

Interesting to see the results of this poll (a three way tie for 63,66&70, with 77 in the rear) and also read the comments, bearing in mind the last post on the thread was almost 9 years ago!

I refer readers to my post earlier in the thread when, 9 years ago, I remarked that the big boys from the 1963 vintage needed another decade to reach maturity-ishness.

I am pleased to report that with the exception of Nacional, they are now there.

Was this the very first TPF post? Oh how young we all were... :wink:

I'm happy to say that I drank many more ports from these vintages in the meantime, but my choice would remain the same.
