At Hart Davis Hart. More available at that price.Glenn E. wrote:Thanks to jdaw1 for alerting me to the deal!

3 x G85 1.5L for $160 each
The former is a very good price in the US. The latter is an outstanding price just about anywhere, I think. Thanks to jdaw1 for alerting me to the deal!
You seem to have it pretty sweet over there if that's the case.. When a T94 costs $120.. It's certainly more than that here.g-man wrote:was thinking about itGlenn E. wrote:6 x G85 750ml for $80 each

but also thought back that i've never had a g85 that impressed me to justify spending that much
80$ is more then i paid for my F85s.

Auction vs retail. Almost all of my purchasing is at retail over the internet.g-man wrote:i now have 4 cases of F85 @ avg price of 76$/btl
actually 2 of those cases were retailGlenn E. wrote:Auction vs retail. Almost all of my purchasing is at retail over the internet.g-man wrote:i now have 4 cases of F85 @ avg price of 76$/btl
Average price of F85 and G85 is pretty similar at retail, and typically ranges between $85 and $90. I'll buy either at $80 because that's as low as I've seen either at retail for a while.
I've seen G85 as low as $65 at auction, but wasn't in a position to strike when I saw it. Unlike G-man, I don't haunt the auction scene so I don't get the same great deals that he and SushiNorth find.
Have you children? That’s a fantastic thing to inherit, or be given, to drink when it has 40-60 years on the clock.TLW wrote:2011 Taylor
Just ordered an Imperial en primeur.
Not sure who is going to drink it, as it will not really be ready for another 30-40 years or so.
Hopefully my double mag will be ready slightly before that..jdaw1 wrote:Have you children? That’s a fantastic thing to inherit, or be given, to drink when it has 40-60 years on the clock.TLW wrote:2011 Taylor

Just one child - a college aged daughter (my wife and I got it right the first time). Thus it will probably almost ready for the wedding of one of her kids (she has none yet of which I am aware), or my funeral (a couple of friends have already volunteered the service of their livers if it is served at my funeral). For it to be perfect, though, 30-40 years might be too soon........ Indeed, if it is as good as hoped, it would be just about right for celebrating England's 1,000th birthday.jdaw1 wrote:Have you children? According to Wikipedia England became a unified state in 927, so, unless you are in possession of a modified Delorean sports car you may find it difficult to use it for that particular party.TLW wrote:Just one child - a college aged daughter (my wife and I got it right the first time). I stand corrected.mpij wrote:According to Wikipedia England became a unified state in 927, so, unless you are in possession of a modified Delorean sports car you may find it difficult to use it for that particular party.TLW wrote:Just one child - a college aged daughter (my wife and I got it right the first time).
