9 bottles of 2000 Niepoort Secundum. I have been much enjoying the halves of Fortnum & Mason 2000 that I have been drinking (which is Secundum also); I find the higher total acidity and very slightly lower sugar level refreshing.

3 x Croft 2000
2 x Vesuvio 1991

...and inspired by recent LBV conversation (and aware that this is an area where my cellar is under stocked), so made use of the 25% off at Waitrose Cellar to get 4 each of:
- Graham’s LBV 2013
- Sandeman LBV 2015
- Warre’s LBV 2007

I have found the 2000 Croft to be passable, but somewhat non-memorable.

I had a similar opinion until about a month ago when I tried it for the first time in about 3 years. It has transformed itself into a delicious and well balanced Port that i would enjoy drinking now or in the future.

Bit of a turkey shoot on the auction circuit right now..

Have just bought a case (12) of T03 for a few pennies over £400 all-in - I think that's a shade less than the release price..

I think I was bidding in the same sale as Tom (on different lots). Croft 91 at £31/bt all in and Fonseca 92 at £50/bt... I'm very happy with those.

Not a recent purchase, but took delivery yesterday.

Is this possibly the largest box for a single "bottle"?

Aah. Good point. Probably coffinesque? [which I’m sure is a proper word].

Let’s have some pictures of the box within the box. Did it come in the beautiful ebony box?

I can’t figure out how to post a picture but you can see what I mean here https://www.instagram.com/p/CBWG_VzJNaU/

Nowhere near as impressive as the 77 box, but still quite nice. Will post appropriate images tomorrow.

I picked up 7 x 1964 Noval Nacional. That's my birth year and these were fairly reasonably priced (about 1/3 the last price I'd seen) so I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

If anyone sees a 1964 Dow, let me know. That's the only VP that I'm missing, though it's theoretically possible that there's also an Offley Boa Vista. Julian deemed OBV questionable in Port Vintages.

I already opened my bottle of Vasconcellos-labeled, Butler Nephew capsuled Port from that vintage. So that '?' in Port Vintages can be upgraded. (I sent Julian a picture and still have the bottle.) Some brief research indicates that Vasconcellos/Butler Nephew was owned by Gonzales Byass around that time, so that might help explain the GB notation in Port Vintages.

As requested...

The D75 isn't numbered like Alex's D77, and the box is nowhere near as impressive.

The Warre equivalents are much more utilitarian (and therefore cellar-friendly).

Following recommendation elsewhere about TheDrinkShop.com got 6 bottles of Roeda 2002 from them. With delivery came to £19.21 per bottle, which I would suggest is a bargain.

Just acquired a 12bt case of 1994 Quinta de la Rosa. Not yet delivered, but potentially open to getting rid of a few bottles.

If you're interested PM or email me.

I had a bottle of the la Rosa '94 in November last year. It was drinking very nicely.

Apart from the bottles at the RV tasting, don’t think I’ve tried any so looking forward to this.
