At the risk of losing the meagre supply chain available to me, I have been trying numerous 10 year old tawnies as well. The Taylor's, the Dow's are both a little middle of the road for my liking. On a whim, I decided to try the own brands from a number of supermarkets - lower price points usually means lower quality.
Sainsbury and Tesco were quite nice and possibly close to the branded in terms of bang for buck if nothing else. However the Morrisons 10 year old tawny is really rather jolly and at £12 per bottle was the bargain of the year for me.
Just please don't empty my local store
