In search of 1981 Warre LBV

Post by rich_n »

Good evening, I have recently been pondering the possibility of acquiring some of the 1981 Warre LBV, since it is probably one of the few 1981 (my birth year) port wines worth searching out at this point. What I'm wondering is if there are any UK based members of the forum who might have any ideas about where I might lay my hands on a bottle, or who might have a bottle and be willing to part with it for a reasonable price?

Any ideas/takers?

checks wine searcher...
I'm afraid I can't help.

You can set alerts on winesearcher which might pick something up in the future from an auction. Apart from that, I'll try keep a lookout for it.

I've got loads - although it's all rather deeply buried right now.

If you can bear with me for a month or two, I can sort you out some - drop me a PM..
