I've just opened a Calem '85 ready for tonight and it was the most effort I've ever had to use to pull a cork. I used the Durand, released the vacuum, the cork would rotate easily, but would not pull. Eventually a huge effort managed to pull it through.
Now that it is out, the bottom of the cork widens considerably, but is also very dense and difficult to compress. An odd one.
*really* didn't want to come
