Re: RE: Re: Port for sale by retailer
This thing sounds pretty interesting, but it's worth a try or not. I started using Wish after I found that Wish free shipping from DontPayFull, and since then, I always look for the things I have been looking for for a long time but could not find. Seriously, there you can find everything you want....

I'm starting to think about solidifying plans for this if it's still likely to go ahead. Has any decision been made yet or is it still too far ahead to know?

I still haven't made a decision on this! Tempted to crack one of the bottles of Six Grapes that I picked up for under a tenner each.

Re: Port and the Euros
Does anyone know if the guys at Churchill record their presentations? If they do, can anyone post a link to the last one - which I also missed! Not that I have seen. If we get the chance I will ask on Thursday and if no, suggest that they have links to each pack tasting on the members area of the P...

Though I am in no way a football fan, after listening to India Women beat England Women in the One Day International I switched on the TV and watched the quarter final. To keep me interested despite whatever happened on the pitch I opened a bottle of Morgan 1991. While a bit rough straight out of t...

Just noticed that Marks & Spencer’s on St John’s Road, Clapham has Taylor 2015 LBV discounted from £17.14 to £13.00 Further silly LBV pricing going on at Asda who have Graham LBV back at £9.00 a bottle for those who haven't already had their fill of that particular offer. ...And Sainsbury's app...

True! I prefer the drier styles when it comes to to the whites but I do have a Quevedo Lagrima to try soon, so I'm intrigued to see what that's like.

This is the white port that changed my mind on white ports. I agree with your assessment of it, apart from enjoying it as a wine on its own rather than in a cocktail.

Third delivery from Churchill’s Port Club. As and when someone opens the ‘club bottle’, please post a note and let us know how it is. I am trying to save it for the virtual tasting or even longer. Mine arrived today as well. Possibly mildly surprised that it consists of three tawnies, one of which ...

Mockery was expected. It is an experiment. I hope it is really good. But it might not be. Yes, it will be. No need for mocking, it will just be grim. A dessert of gammon, egg and lard-fried chips will help you forget how bad your meal was. I've had a Beyond burger in the States. It was not terrible...

I don't think I'll make it for this given the circumstances. I'll be keen later in the summer if things continue to go on the right direction though.

Re: 2021 Virtual Tastings - Planner
As someone who isn't London based, I would definitely be keen to continue to have virtual gatherings. Every other month (or when they reasonably coincide with a 3rd party tasting such as the Quevedo/VWP and Churchill events) seems like a reasonable cadence to aim for in my opinion.
