The colour is clear medium red with a light brown tinge on the rim. The nose is mouldy ( not heavily though). Although corked the wine seems to hold plenty of fruit in the backround sadly unadentified. Sweet palate. I look forward to trying this again and reassess.

Clear pale to medium red with light rim and bright hues. The 90 felt more complex in terms of aromatic character with concentrated red fruit, fig, sultanas, liquorice, caramel and vanilla with hints of tobacco . Beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness with a very long aftertaste.

I found the 89 having slightly brighter pale+ red colour compared to the 90, with a clean nose of black cherry jam, chocolate, treacle, vanilla essence, mint tones. sweet and warm on the palate with high balancing acidity, soft mellowed tannins and extemely long aftertaste.
