Re: Sources of Berrys’ Own Selection ports
On that bulletin board a follow-up question has been asked. Are Berrys' Selections a relabelling of the original blender's wine, or are they -- in some way -- different wines? Again, thank you for your help with this historical digging. They wouldn't be ''relabellings'' necessarily - each vintage w...

Wokingham, Tuesday. AHB to confirm.
AHB and Jdaw. Please confirm time and place. Err, Wokingham, Tuesday. AHB to confirm. A 1980 horizontal would be of great interest. Possible contributions from me include: 1980 Fonseca (recently purchased from THRA ); 1980 Graham (I have 23 bottles remaining); 1980 Nacional (excellent, and tasting ...

Re: “But that is a different Quinta do Silval†?
If we ignore the Q d Silval and Q d Marco anomolies for one moment, I think the three principal VPs produced by Noval today need to appear together in the list with the following display names in this order: Quinta do Noval Quinta do Noval Nacional Noval Silval This would require the sort names to ...

But that is a different Quinta do Silval Which that? Not a “that† different to Magalhães Vintage Porto 2000 as Magalhães is mentioned on their website. The list of names, still not yet including Derek’s extras as I really ought to be doing something else right now. Abbrev. ; Sortable ; Display...

Quinta do Silval has (I believe) no association with Noval and is principally a Hotel. As far as I know they have never made a vintage port. I seem to recall they make some table wines.. ..but I'm not sure? Tom It does have a past with Noval, as they are next to each other. IIRC, Noval now owns som...

Ô°variste Galois
Naughty mis-quoting. A Course in Group Theory : Group Theory is the study of formal symmetries. Offley versus OBV
Yes, I will build a list of questions.
Offley versus OBV. We could show this as two columns, one having been declared in only one year. IMHO, a waste of space. Or we could agree on a multi-declaration symbol, and use it rarely. More mess in the data.
