there was a huge post on winespectator's forum about the clef du vin, they said it does indeed change the taste but not necessarily in a good way. believe some people mentioned a metallic tone to the wine? winelibrary.tv also had a review on it where gary left it in for like 10 minutes to signify 10...

=)

congratz ronnie on what seemed to be a great celebration.

Btw i disagree on the the peller cab franc ice wine.

you must try the Vineland estates cab franc ice wine.

Better balance, a whole new level of complex compared to the Peller. A true stunner of a wine.

Reading up on the label, quite interesting read,

the families Gonzalez split from the Byass family in 1998 so the new 1847 sherry's now no longer have gonzalez byass on them anymore.

g-man, Stop being a girl. As Michael Douglas said in Wall Street "Stomach Bugs are for wimps" (or was it "stomach upsets"?) Either way, drink port like a man and you will start to feel better instantly. Derek The instantly better part comes after it goes out where it came from ....

Or any kind of alcohol for that matter.

I caught the stomach bug on saturday and couldn't drink any form of alcohol since!!!
