AHB is close enough to take it; it was acid for a new, but supplied dry, empty battery - a replacement motorbike battery for an old 125cc I have just taken out of storage for a friend.
AHB's question.

Re: One quiz at a time

So the sequence is to do with weather, the numbers being minutes is not far wrong and the eighth number in the sequence is predictable. So, chaps, what is constant about the weather? It could be something constant with that sequence (e.g. shipping forecast timing), or also not constant and these ar...

Also saw this very recently at an Indian restaurant! Though I wasn't in a position to try it at the time, I noted the very high ABV even for a cask-strength and thought "probably gimmick", but the reviews on masterofmalt.com seem pretty positive; I may have to try just to see.

What would you recommend for a '01 Vargellas or a '99 Malvedos? I thought of 4 to 5 hours.
I'd expect 3-4 to be sufficient, though longer 5-8 would do no harm either.

There are three obvious ways of arranging a row of stars. 1. Alternating orientations, as already shown. http://www.jdawiseman.com/2013/20131224_stars_a.gif 2. Facing sideways. http://www.jdawiseman.com/2013/20131224_stars_b.gif 3. And on their feet. http://www.jdawiseman.com/2013/20131224_stars_c....

Also known as Belphegor's prime.
Belphegor is a prince of hell, and the number contains 666, has thirteen zeroes on each side, and if you want to stretch things a little then you can note that it has 31 digits, which backwards is also 13!

We seem certain to get some snow in Northern Ireland. But for a white Christmas it has to be falling somewhere at 12 noon. We'll see. Officially I seem to remember it's something like "a single snowflake falling on broadcasting house at any time during Dec 25th" - they probably need a for...
