I had to stop harvesting today at 9.30am, it was just pissing down. These last few days have been a bit of a downer, things were going pretty smoothly.

It's very surprising to me that a wine of that price range (at least for a wine of that age bracket) is available by the glass. Good stuff.

I can make out some of what appears to be on it. “Financas” = finances “Portugal” “Damoeda” = currency “Casa” = house “Minis…” (maybe Ministerio?) = ministry Not sure what order they are supposed to be in. I’ve not tasted Dow 2007 recently, but a couple of weeks ago I tasted Noval 2007 for the first time in a decade and was amazed at how delicious it was.

Dow's 2017, not 2007.

I tasted this just before bottling...and then proceeded to buy 6 of them. Have very high hopes for this one, it'll probably age beautifully.
