Not only are you being given access to purchase at incredibly low prices, but with the addition of knowledge that the conditions in which they have been kept should have been excellent. Simply finding access to such rare bottles in high quality condition is rare enoug...

The Hotel du Vin in Cambridge is on my list of places to try sometime; seems like somewhere a tasting might work well, too, since they have a specific tasting/dining room as well.

I'd not tried Jura (that I remember) before Burn's night this year when we had a bottle (of Origin) as one of the whiskies on the table. Given the prices, I think Origin is good vfm, though slightly light so I would not dilute. Diurachs' Own for preference, though twice the price.
