Madison I believe stemmed from Madison Sq. Park on 23rd street, named after our 4th president James Madison according to wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madison_Avenue What annoys me is the order of the avenues in mid town 1st avenue, 2nd avenue 3rd avenue, Lexington Ave, Madison Ave, Park Ave, 5t...

It's a 25$/bottle corkage otherwise.

Let me actually run into the restaurant on wednesday and just ask in person.

Alot of uncertainty for my reservation at the Palm,

I left a message with the general manager and the bartender a few days ago and they both seem to be on holiday so I haven't gotten any confirmation yet.

Looks like we'd have to play this one by ear, I'll post as soon as I get more info.

hazy pale red with a brownish tint. light nose of something floral? Backed by a honey graham cracker nose. This definitely had a great delicate smell that you need to dig for. taste is a bit watered but it's got great red fruit and honey. The finish is very disappointing with a sharp bitter tobacco ...

best colored wine of the bunch with a clear ruby red color. huge amount of bottle stink that disappears after an hour only to come back again after some more time.
