Very sorry , poor admin. My children are coming for half term then.

Happy to still adopt the bottle so you don’t miss out if no reserve

Re: Day Tour to Quinta do Vesuvio

I did this visit with a few friends new to the Douro in June. It is absolutely exceptional. Yes it’s a lot of money but value for money and the experience you get is well worth it. I think it is an extremely fair price and would have no hesitation in doing again. We were looked after so well by Luis...

Re: 1970 Dow

Nice review
My last bottle of Dow 70 was absolutely outstanding and would give the Fonseca serious competition. Sadly it was a month ago and no note. Still a long future ahead ✅✅✅

Re: 1985s, B&F, Wed 16 March 2022

Sorry to miss this. Looks like you had a fun evening. Not surprised the Fonseca one, I think it’s an excellent Port and what I would of expected.
However what I find interesting it that it was not really anyones favourite more consistently second or third choice that made it the winner

Totally agree, not at all keen on electronic: it takes away from the book and makes it less special.

Re: Port Vintages, Second Edition

I would very much like to include the details from John Crisp, real Port history and very special. I would be extremely sad if excluded, it’s the idiosyncrasies that make the book so enjoyable.

Niepoort Robustus 2005
Dow 1966
Very old brandy bottled I think in the 40’s in a bottle much older I would say late 1800’s - bubbly glass- from a mixed lot.
