60%? opaque - lighter than the Croft but without the browning. Less obvious fruit on nose than the Croft and very reserved. More fruit on palate but not ready. Good - 5/7 (HM).

70% opaque, ruby but possibly starting to show some brown at the rim. Still some decent dark fruit on the nose. More primary fruit on palate. Very pleasant - 5/7.

Decanted at 1830 on evening before 1994 Horizontal on 26/3/24; in decanter for two hours; rebottled and Vac-U-Vined.
Cork maybe 40% saturated. Lots of fine sediment.
QA sample good.

From a case purchased en primeur from La Vigneronne in 1996. Has been in my cellar since delivery.

I realize that it is a super touristy thing to do, but ... I have time. So ... is it worthwhile and do I need some kind of reservation to tour the Tower of London? Unless there's an objection I'll decant the Cr & T the evening before, leave in the decanter for a couple of hours, and then put back in the bottle and Vac-u-Vin.
