35% opacity, mature red with yellow-amber rim. Caramels on the nose. Red berries behind this - cranberries. Mid weight in the mouth, dry, slight bitterness. Finish opens up wonderfully, tobacco, dried red fruits.
30% opacity, brown-amber, cloudy with some sediment. Sweet nose, candy and strawberry. Syrupy, some spiciness, dried fruits, oranges, dryness, long aftertaste. Guessed to be Cr60. It was the oranges wot gave it away...

30% opacity, warm red, amber rim. Red fruits on the nose, slightly dried, plus sweet honeycomb. Smooth entry, dryness - dried red fruits, slightly extracted. Lovely port.

The GC80 bottle showed much younger than the GC80 magnum alongside. The bottle evolution was consistent with other GC80 bottles I have had, so I wou...

A fine evening with great company - good to meet Jacques and Alex M. The theme delivered five excellent ports, and a great advertisement for storing away some LBV for the long run.
