Re: 1967s, at the B&F, Thu 08 June 2017

Happy birthday Tony! And many thanks for organising a great tasting as well as the generous contribution of the NN. Doff of hat to Charles Symington for sharing a bottle of Dow '67. Agree with many of the sentiments above - the '67s were on the lighter side, fully mature with a couple of exceptions,...

Re: 1967 Taylor Vargellas

30% opacity, warm red, orange rim. Just slightly more red in colour than the BBR bottling alongside. Nose of dried red fruits. Gentle heat along the palate. Dried fruit - cranberries.

Only slightly preferred versus the BBR bottling. Just a smidgen more fruit and liveliness.

Re: Thu 08 Jun - 67@50 2017

A small aside, for anyone considering holding an election sweepstake in the future. Upon reflection, I have realised that the question I posed was potentially ambiguous. For those people who guessed positive numbers, were they guessing how many seats above the 325 seat threshold the Conservatives wo...

Or, confusingly, both? I have already printed this off - so let's leave it. Ps love the flower powe...
