Re: 1991 Horizontal Tasting - Monday 9th December 2019 - B&F

Would it just be ‘91s or would this extend to the ‘92s that Fladgate declared? I have F92 I could bring.

Re: Cellar defenders - Waitrose VP (or SQVP) options

Cellar defenders are usually quite cheap bottles I have a slightly different angle on cellar defenders Alex. I consider a cellar defender to be something that gets in the way of drinking something special and potentially difficult to replace. And so four cases of say D94, at £50 a bottle, is a love...

Re: 2017s, B&F, Tue 25 June 2019

Great work Alex and Tony, many thanks. And many thanks to the producers who kindly shared bottles for us to taste. What about these 2017s then? I was struck by how integrated and balanced many of the ports were, with fruit, tannin and acidity all accessible. Noses were invariably lively, open, fruit...

I should be OK to print.
The document uses both sizes of sticky labels: eight per A4; and sixty-five per A4.
I was only going to print 65 per A4. Any reason to print the 8 per A4?
Printing complete. Aiming to get there for about 6.

Draft of the sticky labels and TN pages, entailing some additions to the list of Port House abbreviations.

Checking and comment welcomed.
Making sticky label sheets as one sheet per person is a good move, saving tedious effort cutting the label sheets into strips.

Re: 1994s, Tue 11 June 2019, at the B&F

Very nice recap and glad to see the 1994's have generally come back out of their respective awkward teenage years. When I last did a horizontal of 1994's on their 20th, many were very awkward and not showing their best at that moment. I am curious about Flash_UK's comments about the Noval. I've had...
