My bottle decanted at 0715. Couldn’t get much from the nose so hopefully fine.

Having recently enjoyed a couple of 97s (W and GC - which was particularly fine), think that a 97@25 tasting should go onto the list for 2022.

I'll volunteer to organise.
List updated.

Re: Emergency (@ 67 Pall Mall) - Tues 25 Feb 2020

People are wider than an A3. If there isn’t room for an A3, there isn’t room for us. Julian I think the wine library table is long enough to allow a portrait A3 and a place for a plate setting for each person. So rather than traditional glasses sheet in front of the plate, it will be to one side. T...

Re: Emergency (@ 67 Pall Mall) - Tues 25 Feb 2020

Nice job for your first placemat 👍 A3 landscape might be a challenge on that wine library table...I wonder if making it portrait and forcing the glasses into a rectangle down the side would work better? So each person would have a placemat to their side and then space for a plate in front of them? H...

Re: A 1970 horizontal, Flight 5, Thurs 8 October 2020

This Tier 3 tasting has proved popular so I've extended the places from 14 to 17 to give a few more people a chance to attend. We will use 40ml pours instead of 50ml - which will hopefully make the following day slightly easier ;-) Simon, Dia - apologies have not been able to fit you in as I needed ...

Re: Weds 5th Feb 2020 - Bring a blind bottle to share

Some surprises were on show. Joint WOTN were Harry's Taylor 1975 and Tony's Cálem 1977, followed By Charles' Warre 1980. Very good to welcome Harry to his first tasting, where he not only brought a fine bottle, but also held his own in the guessing stakes. Note to self, when an extra bottle gets ope...
