Re: Tuesday 19th December - 77@40

The line up has now been confirmed, we have 16 shippers, 18 bottles one of which is a magnum thus not bad for a Tuesday night. (first post updated)

Can people contributing bottles please deliver them to the B&F in advance, I will contact people shortly re sorting the costs.

Re: Thursday 2nd November - 1970

Gents, apologies - a bout of Sinusitis and (more troublesome for a Port tasting) a course of antibiotics means that I will not be joining you for this. :x Hope you feel better soon I'm afraid work commitments have also got the better of me so I also need to duck out. I may now be able to attend. Wi...

Re: Thursday 2nd November - 1970

I'm afraid work commitments have also got the better of me so I also need to duck out. That is a shame In that case can I bring G70 instead of T70. I have a lot of the former and very few of the latter. Can you Alun (AJH) to the list of attendees for this one ? He will be bringing the T70. Excellen...

Re: Thursday 2nd November - 1970

Unfortunately I can no longer make this evening which, given the theme, I am gutted about. Better move me to the "Would like to, but can't" list. Sorry folks, the Graham 1970 is now needed to console me in my sadness at missing what will be a collection of no doubt fabulous, vintage ports. That is ...

Colour inconsistency, sir?
Sorted and first post updated to clarify - We were in the green room initially, but have now moved to the red room given the numbers

An interesting question and a surprising result:

1st - T03 just too tempting at a ridiculous price last year
2nd = F70 and T85

With this in mind and large gap between the GC tasting (10th Oct) and the BBR port walk (23rd Nov) I have enquired and booked the red room for the 2nd November. Boot...
