Re: Thu 19 Oct 2017, B&F, Mature VP or LBV

Drat and double drat! I hadn't undertaken the necessary checks and balances (schoolboy error) and as am on child duty that night, regrettably I will have to confirm that I'm now out :(

Very sorry but I am going to have to drop out
Very happy to pay for my share of port if place cannot be filled at this late hour.
Sorry about this
CMAG
That's unfortunate. Our reserve (Ray) is already in and so is there anyone else that wishes to attend at this 11th hour?

Re: What do you have most of?

If we're only talking about bottles that I have to hand in my 'cellar' at home then (having undertaken a recent inventory) I don't have double figures of any bottle as I have been trying to concentrate on breadth rather than depth; the most I have is nine bottles of the Sainsbury TTD 03. And what i...

My go to cheese for the Kr67 would be a nice Manchego, mild but nutty- should complement it nicely.

Re: Tue 10 Oct - A Gould Campbell vertical

Only a couple of (potential) food orders to go (you know who you are-Tom!) and so this should be ready to go by the weekend. Most of the bottles now deposited at the B&F and thanks to those that have offered to decant and pre-pour. I should now be able to help with the latter as the work commitment ...

The majority of bottles for this tasting were deposited at the B&F last week (the glasses order was also confirmed). Can I ask that the remaining bottles be deposited before the tasting please? I now need to compile the food order (any volunteers to assist me with this?) and so can I ask these to be...

Re: Buying port in Portugal!

Think I may have mentioned on this Forum before but the Soares chain of wine merchants is well represented in the Algarve and indeed there's one on the Marina in Vilamoura although this is not as cheap as some of the branches that are slightly away from the touristy areas. Don't bother with British ...

Re: Port for sale by retailer

Waitrose turn for a discounted offer but only three bottles required to save 25%. Looking at the 2011VP showing on-line, this makes the SW2011 £200 for 6 (better than the on release price).
