I know some guys from the best port selling store and we've done a couple tastings, but they think a bottle per person port night is out of control... I have a couple of casual port friends, but nothing like us

What brands of port were Vesuvio grapes used in before the Vesuvio brand was launched? The Symingtons bought the estate just before the '89 Vesuvio release. Prior to that the estate was part of the Ferreira stable and I think I recall Johnny saying that the grapes were used variously in some Ferrei...

I bought a 6 pack of the Six Grapes Special. It's a great reserve wine, much better than the regular Six Grapes although I have not had them side-by-side.
