Re: Port Vintages, Second Edition

Totally agree, not at all keen on electronic: it takes away from the book and makes it less special.

Re: Port Vintages, Second Edition

I would very much like to include the details from John Crisp, real Port history and very special. I would be extremely sad if excluded, it’s the idiosyncrasies that make the book so enjoyable.

Sorry for the late response.

If ok and not mucking everything up I would love to come but will have to leave before dinner. So about 7.30/8
Very happy with half pours. Will clearly pay my way on the Port!

Re: Latest buy

I am not sure I agree, I think there is just more Port on the market which has pushed prices down a bit in certain areas

Re: Latest buy

Just to be clear I am a big fan of Raeburn Fine Wines, I have been a customer for many years. I knew this Port did not have the best of reputations but I wanted to try it. Note as stated I only bought a half bottle for a reason.

Re: 2019 Declarations

For example, I remember seeing some adverts for a “Primum Familiae Vini” case which sounded like a fun thing, but when it was released they clearly went big, putting all of the first and ultra-premium labels in a box and selling them for £81K: To be fair, that sold for £81K because of the 12 privat...

Re: 2019 Declarations

I read the press release and as others have said it looks to be 2019, 2009 and 1999 from these two houses in seperate boxes. Let’s all take a step back . Everyone on this site is a lover of Port, it’s a passion. A box like this is not likely to be purchased widely. It is as it says on the tin a limi...

So update on the Bioma
There is no launch date, the production is very limited and the pricing will reflect that
