Erk! That's nine bottles between 6 of us
It’s OK. Relax. In an emergency we could buy another from the B&F.

Re: Wednesday 24th May - ABV

Placemats updated.

Ten is too many for USLegal, so now two sides of A4. Which relieves me of printing duties — volunteers please.

Placemats: any more bottles ‘for’ anybody? Other changes?

Because on US Legal, I'll print at home this evening.

Mistakenly, I was prioritising beauty over function. This might be more effective.

Update:

Opacity, in tens of percentage points, indicated by the point at which the white waves become invisible. Hopefully.

It adds 739 bytes to the PDF.

Re: Wednesday 24th May - ABV

Blind or sighted?

Or a variant. Bottles blind. But each person is to declare for whom the bottle is brought. For example, I have a bottle that I have been saving for BMHR. So that would be “JDAW (for BMHR)”. Would people willing to play with a theme of “Blind, For Somebody”?

I wonder if the Symingtons are sitting on a stash of these for which they may think there is no market? It may be worth an email and a modest shared purchase by a few TPFers, at least those who are prepared to believe that a 1975 VP can be enjoyable?
What happened? Was an enquiry made?

Re: The Port Forum Port Bucket List

Dow 1878. Care to say why? For some years, however, after the book was started I did not drink much port, being in the heat of my devotion to Claret or Burgundy after dinner. … During that interval I was accused and convicted of acute rheumatism, and sentenced, as usual, to give up port altogether—...

The end of the line for the smaller Symington brands: not Smith Woodhouse; nor Gould Campbell; nor Quarles Harris; nor Martinez.

Please post a link for the Sogrape declarations.

Cockburn’s total seems to be 3500+110+33+33⅓ = 3676⅓ dozen.
