Re: Tuesday 15th May 2018, for the Royal Wedding
There will be four toasts, at 6½pm sharp.
➊ The Queen.
➋ The Happy Couple.
➌ The Port Forum.
➍ Vintage Port.
The monarchy being the most ancient institution, the first of these will be done with the oldest Port at table. But with which should the others be done?

Re: Thu 19 April 2018: Emergency
By Thursday 19th April it will have been ages since the last tasting. Would any folks be available for an emergency?
Within reach I have a DB92, some Warre LBV, and a ’77 magnum. Perhaps one of those could inspire a theme.

Re: Warm-up for the BFT: Something nice from the 60s
Alex B. was born in 1963, and has tasted many (many!) 1963s. He might never had had the Fs63. Please could it be saved for an evening which he could attend? (Or, if you have enough of them, would you be willing to sell one for me to give him?)

Re: Software that makes placemats
Instead of /OvertitleMaxFontSizeProportionTitles 0.125 def it would have been better to do /OvertitleMaxFontSizeProportionTitles 0.166666666 def /FontSizesRatioAboveBelowOverMin 999 def So it could be a user error. But I think a change of default for FontSizesRatioAboveBelowOverMin would be advisabl...

Re: RE: Re: Software that makes placemats
In the above, the 1963 over Ck and Mz are clearly smaller than those over G and D; perhaps some form of proportion since the Mz and Ck are in a smaller font than G and D (being maximised to fit within circles), but it would look better if all the 1963s were the same size font. I don't know how the ...
