Re: Tue 13th Nov - An Emergency in London!

I will bring two. I am now rethinking what to bring. Whatever happens it will be two. We love you. Do I just turn up clutching bottles and decant on arrival or is there anything more I need to do first? Standard practice is to decant in advance. Screw-cap wine bottles make excellent disposable deca...

Re: Tue 13th Nov - An Emergency in London!

Taking your point on numbers I will bring just one bottle if that helps. I’m bringing a mag. If I were the only person to bring double, I’d feel lonely and vulnerable and <insert stuff here>. We surely wouldn’t want that. So you do your special thing; I’ll do mine; and everybody wins. Happiness! PS...

Re: Tue 13th Nov - An Emergency in London!

Would seven bottles between five be too much for a school night? Should the magnum be saved for another day? Taking your point on numbers I will bring just one bottle if that helps. Both of these reductions seem to have been implemented (which is fine), but only one is reflected on the placemats. N...

Are Eq and Ec not included because Eufemia doesn't (often? ever?) produce VP?

Question posed primarily due to the unique difficulty with naming the split house(s).
As you say: no VP, no need. Do suggest — though it’s too late to go in the canonical list in The Book.

Those who do not, before 2 nd February 2019, re-confirm their intention to attend, will be deemed to have lost interest...

Re: Thu 14th March 2019, Broadbent Port, at the B&F

Do you have any guidance to give as to the theme for the second course? Should we all bring an extra bottle (and so consume 21 bottles between us)? Should we choose a partner and negotiate with said partner what we bring between the two of us? Are we to be given free rein under the theme of "...old...
